For Individual Learners
- You need a personal account to access our courses (not to be shared or transferred).
- Payments are made online via Stripe or PayPal. No VAT is chargeable.
- No refunds are given unless the service is not delivered as stated.
- Certificates are issued directly by us. We may withdraw a certificate in cases of misconduct, misrepresentation, or behaviour that brings our organisation into disrepute, and will provide a refund in such circumstances.
- All course materials remain our intellectual property. You may use them for your own learning but not copy, share, or resell them.
- Courses are for personal and professional development only — they are not a substitute for medical or therapeutic treatment.
- Our liability is limited to the course fee paid.
For Organisations
- Fees are payable in full in advance unless otherwise agreed. No VAT is chargeable.
- While we will try to provide the named facilitator, any partner, employee, or associate may deliver the service.
- Services may be changed to online delivery if necessary. If so, you can cancel without penalty.
- You are responsible for ensuring participants are aware of safety information.
- Services are confidential, except where disclosure is required for safeguarding or legal reasons.
- Recording sessions requires our prior consent and may incur additional fees.
- Postponement: less than 7 days’ notice = 50% additional fee; postponing more than once = 100% additional fee each time.
- Cancellation: within 7 days = 100% fee, within 14 days = 50% fee, more than 14 days = no fee.

FULL TERMS
These Terms and Conditions apply between you, the User of this Website and services, and Mindful Health Academy, the provider of these services. By accessing and using our Website, registering an account, purchasing courses, or booking training, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Definitions and interpretation
- In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions are used:
a. Courses: online free courses, CPD-certified courses, downloadable resources, and related content provided via the Website.
b. Workshops: live online workshops and in-person training days delivered by Mindful Health Academy.
c. Organisation: a business, charity, or other entity booking training on behalf of its staff.
d. User: any individual learner who registers, accesses, or uses the Website or Courses.
e. Website: https://mindfulhealthacademy.org.uk.
f. Mindful Health Academy (MHA, we, us): the partnership trading as Mindful Health Academy, registered at 1 Laxfield Drive, Broughton, Milton Keynes, MK10 9NQ.
- Unless the context requires a different interpretation:
a. The singular includes the plural and vice versa.
b. “Including” is understood to mean “including without limitation.”
c. References to statutory provisions include modifications or amendments.
Part A – Individual Learners
Accounts and Registration
- Users must register for an account to access Courses. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login details.
Payments and Pricing
- Payments for Courses are made through Stripe or PayPal.
- Prices are not subject to VAT.
- No refunds are provided unless the service is not delivered as stated.
Certificates
- Users may be issued with:
a. Completion certificates for free courses.
b. CPD-certified certificates for CPD-accredited courses.
- Certificates are issued directly by MHA.
- MHA reserves the right to withdraw a certificate in cases of misconduct, misrepresentation, or behaviour bringing MHA into disrepute. In such cases, the course fee will be refunded.
Intellectual Property
- All content, Courses, resources, and materials remain the intellectual property of MHA.
- Users are granted a limited right to access materials for personal use only.
- Materials must not be copied, shared, resold, distributed, or otherwise used for commercial purposes.
Use of Services
- Courses are provided for professional and personal development.
- Courses are not a substitute for medical, therapeutic, or psychological treatment.
Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, MHA is not liable for:
a. Indirect or consequential losses, including loss of earnings.
b. Any reliance placed on learning content as medical or therapeutic advice.
- MHA’s liability is limited to the fee paid for the service in question.
Termination
- MHA may suspend or terminate an account if a User breaches these Terms.
Part B – Organisations
Fees and Payment
- Unless otherwise agreed, fees are payable in full in advance.
Delivery of Services
- MHA will endeavour to ensure that the agreed facilitator delivers the service. However, any partner, employee, or associate of MHA may deliver the service.
- Delivery format may be changed (e.g. from in-person to online) in exceptional circumstances, with notice given. In such cases, the Organisation may cancel without financial penalty.
- Services may be withdrawn by MHA with notice, in which case a proportionate refund will be made, minus any fees already incurred.
Safety and Participant Conduct
- The Organisation is responsible for informing participants of safety information provided by MHA.
- MHA accepts no liability for illness, injury, distress, or inconvenience caused where safety information has not been passed to participants.
- If a safety concern arises, MHA may require a participant to discontinue the practice to prevent harm.
- The Organisation is responsible for ensuring participants conduct themselves appropriately.
Confidentiality
- Services are provided in confidence. Information disclosed by participants will not normally be shared with the Organisation.
- Exceptions apply where disclosure is required to protect health and welfare or to comply with the law.
Resources
- Resources may be provided at MHA’s discretion. Resources shared in the past may not be repeated and new resources may be introduced.
Recording
- Delivery may be audio or video recorded only with MHA’s prior agreement and with participants’ consent.
- Additional fees may apply for recording.
Postponement and Cancellation
- If the Organisation postpones a service:
a. If less than 7 days’ notice is given, an additional 50% of the total fee is payable.
b. If the same service is postponed more than once, an additional 100% of the total fee is payable for each subsequent postponement.
- If the Organisation cancels before the service commences:
a. 100% of the fee is payable if cancellation is within 7 days of the start date.
b. 50% of the fee is payable if cancellation is within 14 days of the start date.
c. No fee is payable if more than 14 days’ notice is given.
General Provisions
- These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
- The courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising under these Terms.
- MHA may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be published on the Website. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
